We laid specialist fireproof slabs manufactured by DA Tech on the ground, first, and fourth floors of the new training facility, in all the burn rooms.
These slabs are constructed using special heat-proof cement and were quite challenging to lay due to slight differences in shape and thickness. But we did an excellent job, and the main contractor was very pleased with our work. Also, accessing the work areas with the slabs and laying mortar was very labour-intensive.
Overall, this was a good job for the company and could lead to further work around the country.
