Professional Industrial Estate Refurbishments
On behalf of our partners, South East Refurbishments, we’ve recently completed several large commercial refurbishment contracts across Kent, many of which have involved modifications at existing industrial estates.
When undertaking commercial refurbishments, it is a legal requirement to bring the standards up to that of modern-day building regulations and environmental standards. This includes creating the ducting for EV charging points, upgrading drainage systems and on-site services such as waste and fresh water.
Many of the projects have involved laying new reinforced concrete surfaces. Two of the projects in Aylesford and Tonbridge have also involved removing redundant fuel storage tanks.
This process involves removing the tanks, which need to be professionally drained and cleaned before a final test to ensure no residual traces of gas remain; at this point, official paperwork is provided to prove all safety procedures have been adhered to. The tanks can then be recycled.
