Resin Bound Driveways are increasing in popularity as they are a long-lasting attractive alternative to traditional gravel driveways. Resin-bound driveways are made from specially treated and dried natural stone (which is available in many colours) and a stable UV resin compound.

The stone is thoroughly mixed together with the resin and is then applied to the base the end result is a high end and attractive seamless gravel surface.

One benefit of this system is the fact that existing tarmac or concrete pathways or patios can be used as a base for resin bonded driveways this is provided the existing surface has been fully cleaned all traces of oil weeds and any other containment will need to be completely eradicated from the existing surface.
Before laying any cracks in the existing surface must also be repaired to achieve the best possible results if the existing surface is in any way porous a primer will also need to be applied. Any existing surface with joins such as traditional block paving is not deemed as a suitable base.
Once the preparation process has been completed G Mackett Construction & Groundwork Ltd can begin the process of mixing the Resin that is to be laid on the prepared surface when ready the self leveling resin is applied after 10 minutes the resin will have self leveled and the aggregate can be added or (broadcasted)
